Do you know Time like a Friend?

Time is your friend, get to know it better.

If you really believed a task would take two minutes, would you do it?

I read a post recently and the core message to me was TIME IS YOUR FRIEND. I have never ever considered it my friend. I raced against time, lamented there wasn’t enough time, grieved over time I wasted but never have I considered it my friend.

That is a whole shift in mindset that I am grasping. Time is on my side, has a new meaning!

So instead of fighting, abusing and even cursing time, let’s put it to good use. What do you put off doing because of your perception of time?

  • Dishes

  • Folding Laundry

  • Making Bed

  • Dealing with Mail

  • Dinner Preparations

  • Appointments

  • Walking

I suggest you get to know Time and spin your mental thoughts about time into a positive light. Consider rephrasing it like this… I have time for…. or even, I wonder if I have time for…

All phones come with a clock, set the timer and see how long it really takes you to do something.

I set the timer to see how long it took me to walk 2 blocks from door to door. Well, I was surprised it took me 14 minutes. I now have that knowledge to do battle with myself about getting my body moving and working on that rhythm more consistently.

Knowledge is power as they say. so POWER UP, time some of your unloved routines, and do battle with yourself.

Need help pacing out some clutter chores, join the Clutter Hunt and take 7 minutes a day for 7 days each month and pare down with us.
